Due to understanding of basic science and genetic aspects of congenital heart disease, the interest in this area has increased significantly. Further, the improvement in outcome of children born with congenital heart disease (CHD) has improved significantly. This is due to the improvement in surgical as well as interventional techniques developed over the last decade or so. However, such improvements in these two areas would not have been possible without improvement in cardiac imaging
