Animated abstracts are intended to extend the scope and visibility of publications, helping to summarize the essential discoveries and key findings of your published article, book chapter or book and presenting key aspects in a readily understandable manner.
Bentham Science has collaborated with Focus Medica for creation of animated videos of our publications. Focus Medica is one of the world’s largest publishers of expert animated atlases and videos in medicine and science. Each professionally produced, full-colored, animated abstract will be in video format (3 – 5 minutes duration) and it will be accompanied by an English or foreign language audible commentary. Animated Video Abstracts shall be available as open access (free to view) and published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution – Non Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International Public License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/.
The payment for an animated abstract will be US$ 950 for English language, and US$ 1450 for Foreign language book / chapter. Initially, an advance payment of US$ 500 of the total payment will be payable to the Publisher to start work on the Animated Abstract, US$ 450 (English language) or US$ 950 (Foreign language) will be payable on completion of the Animated Abstract.
Authors who wish to publish their book / chapter as an open access publication will be entitled to a 50% discount on their Animated Video Abstract fee.
This paid service is optional and will only be provided upon the explicit written request of the concerned authors.
